Makeup by Camelia
Camelia Sealy is a certified published makeup artist based in New York City.
Camelia began her career in 2008 as a plus model and self-taught artist working with fellow models for runway shows and photo-shoots. Her exposure to the modelling and makeup world led her to fill the position of key makeup model and studio assistant for Chic Studios NYC, where she later enrolled in their professional makeup artistry program.
After earning her certification in 2012, Camelia began working on independent feature films and music videos alike. Her growing connection to the industry allowed her to assist seasoned makeup artists; widening her artistic skill and leading her to fill key artist and makeup department head positions. In 2017, Camelia began working with TED Talks; broadening her expertise and experience in makeup for theater-like shows, videos and live broadcasting.
As a freelance artist, Camelia currently works with photographers, production companies, fashion brands and private clients for magazine editorials, social media content, events and more!
